How to sync an incoming tenancy in PropertyMe with SimpleRent

Note: This process applies when adding a new/incoming tenant to a property already synced with SimpleRent. An incoming tenant refers to a new tenant who is set to occupy the property in the future.

  1. Login to your PropertyMe account and navigate to the property where you wish to add an incoming or new tenant in SimpleRent. Click on the pink SimpleRent side panel badge.

  2. Choose the incoming tenant from the list of tenants associated with the property, tagged as "Current" and "Incoming." "Current tenant" refers to the current occupant of the property, while "incoming tenant" refers to the future occupant scheduled to lease the property.

  3. Review the tenancy details from PropertyMe alongside lease payment details for SimpleRent. Once reviewed, click 'Sync to SimpleRent'. A message prompt will confirm "Syncing Successful," indicating a successful tenancy sync.

  4. You can access the tenancy information in the SimpleRent app to verify the sync.
