Installing SimpleRent Chrome Extension for PropertyMe
Visit this link: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/simplerent/ejnancobllppofpnnlenepgacncofooi and click SimpleRent
User will be navigated to the Chrome Web Store - directly to the SimpleRent chrome extension.
Click Add to Chrome
A notification will show to confirm the action. Click on Add extension.
SimpleRent Chrome Extension will be added.
*If the SimpleRent Chrome Extension isn’t showing up in the panel follow the steps below:Click on the plugins (puzzle piece) icon.
Look for SimpleRent.
Click on the pin.
Authorization with PropertyMe
*provided that user is already logged in to PropertyMe, and ;
*user type of Admin or Admin Owner in PropertyMe and Agent Admin in SimpleRent should do the authentication first since the PMe API did not allow Standard PMe user account role to access the API.
This step happens for the first time users of the SimpleRent Chrome Extension and for every SimpleRent-PropertyMe user.
Click on the SimpleRent Chrome Extension icon.
2. Input credentials in SimpleRent and Login
3. Verify the SimpleRent agency and PropertyMe portfolio to be linked. Click Confirm.
4. User will be redirected to PropertyMe authorization page. Input login credentials and Sign In
5. Select the portfolio/agency for integration access.
6. Click Yes, Allow.
Congratulations! SimpleRent and PropertyMe is now completely integrated.
*Notice that the chrome extension icon on the upper right-hand side is YELLOW . This serves as an indication that AUTHENTICATION IS NOT YET DONE.
