Adding a tenant to an already existing property allows you to setup the lease for this tenant.

Here are the steps to go about this:

STEP 1

Click Properties and search for the property address that you want to add the tenant.

To search:

STEP 2

Once the search results are listed, then click the Property Address you want to add the tenant to.

STEP 3

Click Add Tenants

STEP 4

Enter the Tenant Details and Lease Details

STEP 5

Once the Tenant and Lease Details have been entered, it's time to Send Email and SMS notification to the tenant you have added onto the property by clicking Submit

STEP 6

Tenant has been successfully added to the property and it will look like the below.

*NOTE - You have finished the lease setup for the tenant's account on SimpleRent but the tenant is NOT YET ACTIVE for direct debits.
